MICHAEL P. (MICK) FLANNIGAN  - Producer Biography

During his prolific career, Michael P. Flannigan has produced and/or production managed close to 40 feature films from locations throughout the United States, as well as in Brazil, Canada, Ireland, and throughout Eastern Europe. He has worked with some of the leading independent feature film production companies in Hollywood and is a member of the Producer’s Guild of America and the Independent Filmmaker's Project.
 
In 1996, Michael production managed a series of six cable TV movies, entitled Hot Lines for LA-based Magic Hour Pictures. Next, Michael was introduced to Roger Corman’s Concord/New Horizons company, and shortly thereafter he became production manager for four feature films from that studio during 1996-97. He also produced two pictures for Cineville Films in this era.
 
Michael was sent to Galway, Ireland, to run Corman’s “Concord Anios” Studios, from 1998-99. Serving the company as Head of Concord Anios Studios. Producing three films for Corman and provided production services for Trimark Pictures.
 
Returning to Los Angeles, Michael worked as a freelance producer/production manager in 2000, with Trimark Pictures Leprechaun in the Hood as one of his projects. For Franchise Pictures, Michael worked with Jeff Goldblum and Anne Heche on a release called Beyond Suspicion, and for Tomorrow Films, he produced Double Bang with William Baldwin.
 
During 2001, Michael shot additional photography for the Walter Hill feature Undisputed, and production managed Lion’s Gate Entertainment’s The Rules of Attraction.
 
Michael began his association with Millennium Films in 2002, and since that time has been involved as producer of the Al Pacino starrer 88 Minutes, served as line producer of director Brian DePalma’s The Black Dahlia. Starring Josh Hartnet, Scarlett Johannson, and Hilary Swank. Executive producer on Home of the Brave, starring Samuel L. Jackson and Curtis (50 Cent) Jackson, directed by Irwin Winkler.
 
In 2007 Michael was made the head of Millennium’s Shreveport Louisiana studio operations and oversaw the production of Homeland Security, starring Antonio Banderas and Meg Ryan; Blonde Ambition, starring Jessica Simpson and Luke Wilson; Cleaner with Samuel L. Jackson and Ed Harris directed by Renny Harlin; and Mad Money Starring Diane Keaton, Queen Latifa, and Katie Holmes Directed by Callie Khouri. In addition to his producing duties, Michael was instrumental working with the city of Shreveport in the development of Millennium’s stages and studio facility.
